Lisa Hearn

Lisa specialises in advising Registered Providers (RPs) with the property aspects of loan security. She is experienced in advising on charging and refinancing large portfolios of properties to secure various housing finance transactions. These include public bond issues, private placements, new entrant funders and traditional bank lending, all often via security trusts.

Lisa also advises on large scale due diligence projects to get properties ‘ready to charge’ and on issues such as the effectiveness of mortgagee exclusions clauses in various documents, title defects and other issues which can potentially prohibit  charging and effect  the valuation basis of the properties.
