Holly Bryan


Holly is a Solicitor in Trowers & Hamlins' Commercial Litigation Team, based in our Exeter Office. Holly qualified in 2018 before joining Trowers & Hamlins in November 2021. 

Holly specialises in disputes involving Estates, Wills and Trusts. Holly also specialises in providing unmarried individuals with asset protection advice, particularly in relation to property ownership, and the preparation of the associated asset protection documents.  

Relevant Experience 

  • Holly has particular experience in advising individuals in relation to claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975, the Doctrine of Proprietary Estoppel, Will Validity Claims, and Executor/Trustee disputes and removal. 
  •  Holly has extensive experience in advising unmarried individuals both on protecting their assets during cohabitation, and on their position and available claims on separation, including claims under the Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996. Holly regularly prepares Cohabitation Agreement and complex Declarations of Trust for her clients.
  • Recently, Holly has advised Executors and Personal Representatives of Trusts with hostile beneficiaries in relation to their duties and the steps they should take to protect themselves and the Trust.
  • Holly has also worked on a number of reported high profile cases which have proceeded to both the High Court and Court of Appeal, and has experience advising her clients at a civil mediation, both pre-action and as part of proceedings.
