Cecilia Busby


Cecilia has been at Trowers & Hamlins since 2019 and qualified as a solicitor in 2021. She advises on a range of contentious property matters.

Cecilia has experience in construction and a particular interest in property disputes relating to development as well as the Building Safety Act. She has advised housing associations, developers, private clients and property investors on matters including trespass, adverse possession, boundary disputes, rights of way and rights of light as well as on a range of commercial landlord and tenant issues, including dilapidations, development related disputes, break rights, 1954 Act lease renewals, recovery of rent arrears and property related insolvency matters.

Cecilia also has experience of advising in telecoms disputes, in the context of lease renewals on favourable terms as well as development settings where the goal is redevelopment, be it commercial or residential.
