The Midland's future is bright with economic growth, the development of towns and cities, major new infrastructure and 5G converging to position the region as a significant economic hub on the national, European and global stage.
As part of our ongoing campaign celebrating and supporting the region, we met and discussed how the Midlands can continue to grow and cement its position. Is a new narrative emerging for the region or is it already here? What role do businesses have to play in this? By exploring the regions strengths and recent successes, we looked ahead at creating step- changes for business, institutions and inhabitants, and considered how best to open up opportunity through embracing diversity, technology and structural change.
