International law firm Trowers & Hamlins has appointed Laura Rooks as its new General Counsel, as the firm continues to progress its 2030 growth strategy.

Laura brings more than 15 years’ experience across legal risk, compliance and in-house legal functions within leading international law firms and financial services organisations. She will work closely with colleagues across the firm to support its continued growth, strengthen its approach to risk and governance, and help deliver its strategic ambitions.

Laura joins from Three Crowns, where she served as Director of Risk & In-house Counsel, leading the firm’s global risk, compliance and in-house legal function.
