International law firm Trowers & Hamlins has advised Mawdsleys Group Investments Limited on the sale of Positive Solutions Limited (PSL), a leading provider of healthcare technology solutions, to TAG Software Group (UK) Limited, a subsidiary of Valsoft Corporation.
The transaction marks a significant milestone for Positive Solutions, which has been part of the Mawdsleys Group for more than 20 years and supports thousands of healthcare professionals across the UK through its software and technology solutions.
Valsoft, a Canadian based acquirer of vertical market software businesses, partners with software companies to support their long-term growth through strategic investment while maintaining operational independence and preserving company culture.
Trowers advised on all legal aspects of the acquisition which will provide Positive Solutions with additional investment to accelerate growth and enhance its offering across existing and new markets.
Mawdsleys is a sixth-generation family-owned pharmaceutical distributor and supplies nearly a third of all medicines delivered to NHS hospitals. Positive Solutions has developed into a trusted healthcare technology business during its time within the group, and the transaction provides an opportunity for the business to continue its growth journey under new ownership.
