International law firm Trowers & Hamlins has been named as a 'Significant Player' by India Business Law Journal (IBLJ) in its latest rankings of the world's top foreign firms for India-related matters.
The annual report, now in its 19th year, draws on IBLJ's analysis of more than 600 law firms worldwide to determine the foremost foreign law firms for India-facing work. The findings are based on extensive research and consultations with India-focused general counsel worldwide and partners at Indian law firms.
This recognition follows IBLJ's inclusion of two Trowers & Hamlins deals on its list of the top 50 deals of the year. The India Business Law Journal Deals of the Year showcases the landmark India-related transactions of the past year, highlighting the most innovative, noteworthy and significant deals, cases and other legal matters
Debopam Dutta, Partner and Head – India Desk, was also named on IBLJ's A-List for 2025. The International A-List features the world’s top 100 lawyers outside India most recommended by clients and peers for their work on international aspects of India-related matters.
