How can we help you?

International law firm, Trowers & Hamlins, has welcomed back Cassandra Lim, previously a senior corporate lawyer in its Malaysia office, as a Corporate Partner in the firm's new Singapore office.

Cassandra worked for Trowers from 2016 to 2022 and was one of the first Malaysian associates to join the firm’s Kuala Lumpur office after Trowers opened there, as the first law firm to be granted a Qualified Foreign Law Firm licence to practise in Malaysia, in 2015.

Her work with the firm included leading and supporting on various aspects of corporate transactions from drafting and negotiating transactional documentation and commercial contracts to managing legal due diligence exercises both in South East Asia and the Middle East. She was twice seconded to key clients and advised a broad portfolio of both Malaysia-based and international clients, government institutions and institutional investors spanning several industries.

Commenting on Cassandra's return, Abdulhaq Mohammed, who leads both the Trowers Singapore office and its Asia business, said:

"It is a pleasure to welcome Cassandra back to the firm and the partnership. Cass was always highly regarded by our clients, and I know she will be a tremendous asset as we grow our business in Asia."

Cassandra added:

"I am delighted to return to Trowers. Having been part of the inaugural team in Kuala Lumpur and helping the office there get established, I am really looking forward to continuing the journey with our new office in Singapore."
