Trowers has hired specialist energy lawyer, Josh Partridge, to join its Energy and Sustainability team. A lateral hire, Josh joins as a partner in a move that adds his considerable experience and focus on renewable generation, energy storage and digital technologies to the firm's market-leading team.
Josh joins Trowers from Bird & Bird, where he worked on a broad range of projects across multiple jurisdictions including large-scale solar and energy projects storage, power purchase agreements, smart technologies, electric vehicle charging infrastructure and connected regulatory matters.
Additionally, his experience includes advising government bodies, regulated bodies, investors, developers and consumers on commercial structuring for energy projects, including on the procurement and deployment of national scale infrastructure projects.
Josh has been heavily involved in the emergent energy storage industry in the UK, having authored a number of papers and advised numerous clients on the development of the regulatory framework and the commercial drivers in the UK storage market.
