International law firm Trowers & Hamlins has published its first ever responsible business report 'An Agenda For Change'. The report sets out the Firm's five year strategy and approach to tackling the environmental, social and governance (ESG) agenda.

To ensure that the firm operates sustainably and in line with the ESG agenda, it's strategy is focused on five key areas; business, people, community, environment and governance and accountability.

These areas include setting out new targets and driving positive change across important issues including; diversity and inclusion, wellbeing, social mobility, CSR, reducing carbon and much more.

Senior Partner, Sara Bailey says:

"Increasingly clients, colleagues, the talented people we want to recruit and other important stakeholders demand to know how responsible we are as a business and rightly so. We have been doing lots of fantastic work in this space for a long time,  but this is the first time we have set out our goals in greater detail.

This is not a tick box exercise for us. It's about us holding ourselves accountable and a determination to bring about real change. We need to make some big changes and be up front about where our challenges lie."

The firm will be working over the next five years and beyond to ensure it meets the targets and standards set out in the report.
