International law firm Trowers & Hamlins will be retaining eight of its 12 trainees qualifying this autumn.
The eight individuals will be taking up positions across three of the firm's offices in the Banking & Finance, Dispute Resolution, Projects and Construction and Real Estate departments.
Four will be based in the firm's London office, three in Exeter and one in Manchester.
