Trowers & Hamlins retains 92 per cent of trainees in spring 2017

Trowers & Hamlins is pleased to announce that they will be retaining 11 of their 12 trainees qualifying this spring.

The 11 individuals will take up positions across four of the firm's offices in the Real Estate, International and UK Banking & Finance, International Corporate, Projects and Construction and Employment departments.

Seven will be based in the firm's London office, one in Manchester, one in Exeter and two in Bahrain.

The Trowers & Hamlins newly qualified solicitors are Lucy Dodd, Alex Frankland, Avita Grewal, Jonathan Grosvenor, Shah Malik, Matt McDonald, Penny Pruksakit, Anna Streeter, Tom Synott, Ed Tyler and Nez Zein.

Tonia Secker, partner and training principal at Trowers & Hamlins, commented: "We would like to congratulate our outstanding trainees on becoming qualified solicitors. They have all worked extremely hard over the last two years, and we are delighted to offer them permanent roles so they can begin and develop their legal careers here at Trowers & Hamlins."

Last autumn, Trowers & Hamlins announced a 79 per cent retention rate for trainees who qualified in September 2016.
