Latest professionals' league table shows Trowers & Hamlins leading the legal field on bonds, private placements and institutional loans for housing providers

According to Social Housing magazine's professionals' league table, published in August 2017, Trowers & Hamlins advised housing providers on more capital markets transactions than any other law firm between July 2015 and 2017. Trowers advised on 20 transactions spanning that two year period, almost half of the 46 transactions featured.

Trowers & Hamlins acts for more than 250 housing providers. The firm's housing focussed Real Estate Finance team is easily the largest in the country. Led by Adrian Carter it is made up of 12 partners, 22 solicitors and 14 other legal professionals. The team is top-tier ranked in Social Housing Finance in the independently verified legal directories, Chambers UK and The Legal 500 UK. In addition, Adrian Carter, Anna Clark, Sarah Gooden and Neil Waller are recognised as leading individuals in Social Housing Finance by the directories. Head of Real Estate Finance Security Katie Dyer is also highly respected in the sector.

The last Social Housing league table issued in July 2015 also showed Trowers & Hamlins ahead of the competition, having secured £1.68 billion worth of bonds and private placements for clients in the preceding 12 months.
