There has been £778 million of funding awarded under Wave 2.1 of the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF). This is a key funding opportunity for local authorities, registered providers and registered charities (either alone or as part of a consortium) looking to retrofit their social housing stock and will be a crucial step in meeting Net Zero targets and addressing fuel poverty.
For practical session aimed at helping landlords navigate the post-handover phase following delivery of the SHDF decarbonisation works, we were joined by Paul Norman, Director of Strategic Asset Management, Clarion Housing Group and David Kemp, Associate Director of Sustainability, Turner & Townsend.
Topics covered:
- Completion and handover requirements
- Asset management considerations
- Tenant engagement principles
- Practical issues to consider in the post-installation stage
Followed by a Q&A session.
This was the third and final webinar in our series of SHDF webinars that focused on funding, project delivery and asset management.
