Webinar: Trowers Tuesdays – mandatory vaccinations in the care sector

Share

From 11 November Covid-19 vaccinations will be compulsory in CQC registered care homes.

New consultation looks to widen this requirement to include flu jabs and to all health and social care settings including registered extracare and sheltered housing.

For our most recent Trowers Tuesdays session Rebecca McGuirk, Laura Welchew and Emma Burrows discussed concerns around employees still refusing to have the vaccine, grievances arising out of the mandatory vaccination requirement, the new self-certification for medical exemptions and concerns about the wider consultation.

We have also updated our recent bulletin on mandatory vaccinations in care homes with the results of our webinar polls on vaccine take-up, which you can read here.
