Webinar: Data Privacy - how has the pandemic changed the risk profile in a digital and data driven business?

Share

In the backdrop of a global pandemic we are seeing a huge surge in organisations looking at ways to reshape their workforce for permanent home working.

Almost all organisations had to dramatically increase digitalisation. Some went from no remote working capabilities to 100% home working overnight.

In a recent survey of how our clients are preparing for a world post Covid-19, we found that 60% of respondents are so concerned about data protection that a data risk assessment is at the top of their agenda for planning for a future of agile working. What does this mean for how businesses manage and protect data?

We were delighted to be joined by Kelly Hendley, Data Protection Officer at WM Morrison Supermarkets to share her insights into how Morrison's are approaching data privacy and protection.

Our expert panel also took questions from the audience and covered a range of data privacy issues including:

  • How access to data in a remote environment increases the risks of a data breach
  • The workplace of the future and how data privacy risks can be managed
  • What practical steps can be taken to protect data
  • What to do when a data breach occurs
