How can we help you?

Part of our being an efficient employer of the future series.

Have you ever experienced poor management? Understanding how to be an intentional and effective manager can be essential to creating a positive workplace environment, especially one which retains and develops talent.

John Turnbull will be joined by Trowers expert Emma Burrows and David Blackburn, a globally recognised people professional with over twenty five years' worth of experience in HR, to provide an overview of the importance of training for those in management positions and how to avoid 'accidental' managers. David is passionate about improving efficiency, profitability and employee experience across all organisational levels and has proven expertise in coaching and developing leaders. He is also a founding member of Nexus, an exclusive community of chief people officers.

They'll be discussing how to make management more intentional by focusing on essential skills, but also looking at using skills assessments and feedback to improve leadership development and how to effectively navigate difficult conversations.

As always, you'll have the opportunity to ask the panel your burning questions in advance of the session or live during the discussion itself.
