How can we help you?

Trowers & Hamlins invites you to Part 2 in its series of webinars on injunctive relief, where we will be looking at freezing injunctions.

In Part 2 of our demystifying injunctions webinar series we will be looking at freezing injunctions (or 'Mareva' injunctions, as they are also known).

Freezing injunctions are a powerful tool in litigation. They are a court order that claimants use to help identify and secure assets to enforce their claims against, thereby significantly increasing the prospects of recovery. Freezing injunctions often put claimants in a strong position to resolve their claim, given the onerous and potentially penal consequences of non-compliance.

In this webinar, Michael Rhode, Laura Pennells and James Lancaster will be joined by Jeremy Richmond KC of Quadrant Chambers, who have all successfully obtained freezing injunctions many times in various different contexts. We will be looking at the concept of freezing injunctions, the circumstances when they are commonly required, when they can be obtained, the practicalities of obtaining such injunctions and what to do to challenge a freezing injunction as a respondent.

This webinar will take place at 2 pm on 7 March 2023. Please click on the link if you can join us.

In Part 3 of the series we will be looking at 'springboard' injunctions. More details to follow.
