From 11 November Covid-19 vaccinations will be compulsory in CQC registered care homes. New consultation looks to widen this requirement to include flu jabs and to all health and social care settings including registered extracare and sheltered housing.
Rebecca McGuirk and Laura Welchew will be joining Emma Burrows to discuss concerns around employees still refusing to have the vaccine, grievances arising out of the mandatory vaccination requirement, the new self-certification for medical exemptions and concerns about the wider consultation.
Rebecca and Laura will be joined by Kyle Holling, who will be discussing the effect of mandatory vaccinations on care providers if they are unable to deliver services due to staff shortages.
