How can we help you?

Led by Faizal Bhana, Jersey Finance Director - Middle East, Africa and India and Brian Howard, Head of International Funds at Trowers & Hamlins, Jersey Finance and Trowers & Hamlins are once again delighted to host a Gulf focused joint webinar.

This 90 minute event will provide key insights on what is important to sovereign wealth investors and their managers in the Middle East when considering their investment opportunities via a leading key-note speaker, and a panel session of Jersey and Gulf based sovereign wealth, fund administration and tax structuring experts.

The topics for discussion will include:

  • Structures and domiciles used / invested in by GCC sovereign wealth funds, factors relevant to their choices and trends being noticed;
  • The requirements of sovereign wealth investors - what are they looking for, what is important to them, what diligence elements do they focus on, their requirements of asset managers when negotiating fund investment terms and some discussion of the tax issues that come up specific to the context of sovereign asset managers; and
  • The growing role of ESG in evaluation of investment opportunities, the associated commitments provided by many of the Middle East's sovereign wealth funds and what that means for the asset managers they choose.

The event is relevant to those working in wealth and asset management and fund administration with an interest in both sovereign and quasi-sovereign wealth funds.
