How can we help you?

The new EU £50bn State aid scheme – what does this mean for national, regional and local government and how can you access the finance?

The European Commission has approved a £50 billion “umbrella” UK scheme to support UK businesses affected by the coronavirus outbreak. This support package will allow public bodies in the UK to offer temporary support and can include grants, equity injections, selective tax advantages, advance payments, state guarantees for loans and subsidised loans, will provide support for existing developments and infrastructure, and to support local and national economies.

Join Paul McDermott and Julian Jarrett from Trowers & Hamlins' Public Sector team, who will lead this special webinar to explore this funding mechanism in more detail and address a number of questions, including:

  • What types of public support/aid is covered?
  • The framework and limits of support.
  • Which public bodies can give aid?

We will also be answering your questions during the webinar so please submit your question when registering your place and we will aim to cover it during the session.
