The first of our two part charging series will cover all you need to know about how the charging process works, how to get started with property due diligence and how to help and support your treasury teams in gathering the property information needed for charging.

The session has been designed to meet the specific needs and interests of junior treasury team members, those new to the charging process, development professionals supporting the charging due diligence process and those needing a charging training refresher.

Directors/Heads of Finance and Treasury may wish to share this invitation with their team members where it is deemed to be of benefit.

At the end of the workshop you will have the knowledge to anticipate and deal with issues relating to:

  • The basics of the charging process
  • Creating the initial property list
  • Understanding property title and searches
  • Planning basics
  • Mortgagee exclusion clauses
  • Bases of valuation
  • Instructing the valuer
  • The valuation process
