Summer vacation schemes

Our summer vacation schemes are a good way of finding out what life really is like as a trainee at our firm.

We offer 46 places across our London, Birmingham, Exeter and Manchester offices each year. During your time with us, you will be involved in real work - drafting, undertaking research, attending meetings and interacting with a range of people across the firm. You will be teamed with a trainee mentor who will introduce you to each department and be on hand to offer you all the guidance you need. And you will be allocated a supervisor to offer you advice on the work that you will undertake.

We pay every candidate attending our summer vacation schemes. This is currently £300 per week in London and £250 per week in Birmingham, Exeter and Manchester.

If you are interested in applying for one of our summer vacation scheme places, our comprehensive online application form can be found here (link to application). Please note that we do not consider any other form of submission (i.e. CV and covering letter) other than our online form.

The application process for our summer vacation schemes in 2021 opens on 1 October and will close on 29 January 2021. To apply, please complete an online application form. Successful candidates will be invited to attend an assessment day in March/April 2021.

We assess all summer vacation students for a training contract during their time with us.

London open day

We are hosting a virtual winter open day for those interested in working in our London office. During the course of the day, you will join a number of presentations on topics ranging from application form tips to life as a trainee at the firm. This year's open day will be held on 16 December. To apply, you will need to complete our online application form which will close on 25 November 2020.

Coffee mornings

Birmingham: 12 January 2021
Manchester: 13 January 2021
Exeter: 20 January 2021

We are holding virtual coffee mornings in our Exeter, Birmingham and Manchester offices. The mornings will involve talks by the graduate recruitment team and partners. There will be a Q&A and a networking session afterward.

If you would like to attend one of our coffee mornings, please email graduates@trowers.com with your preference and a copy of your CV.
