Ed Tyler


Ed is a Senior Associate in Trowers & Hamlins' Project and Construction department. Following a two-year period working overseas in Malaysia, Ed re-joined in September 2023 having previously qualified at Trowers in April 2017.

Ed specialises in non-contentious projects and construction matters and has experience advising a broad spectrum of domestic and international clients ranging from private developers, investment funds, development managers, housing associations, government departments, contractors, consultants and high net worth individuals. Particular areas of focus include the drafting and negotiation of a wide-range of construction contracts including, but not limited to, building contracts (focusing mainly on the JCT and NEC forms), consultant appointments, sub-contracts, agreements for lease, development agreements, funding agreements (both bank lending and grant funding), development management agreements, bonds, guarantees, collateral warranties, framework agreements and settlement agreements.
