Edward Rees


Edward is currently a Trainee Solicitor in Trowers & Hamlins' Dispute Resolution and Litigation department. He has undertaken seats in Real Estate and Corporate Commercial in London, as well as International Corporate in Bahrain. He joined the firm in September 2017 and is currently based in the firm's London office.

Edward works with a range of the firm's real estate clients, including private providers, local authorities and government agencies. He has gained extensive experience of investment and funding agreements for affordable housing, both within London and across England. Edward has worked on complex development projects encompassing residential, health, education and commercial uses.

Edward has experience of working with both private and public sector clients on corporate and commercial matters. He has researched and advised on public procurement rules, state aid and the powers and duties of English local authorities and EU public bodies. At an international level, Edward has experience in funds, capital markets and M&A, in addition to luxury real estate and hotel developments.

His litigation experience encompasses construction disputes as well as landlord and tenant matters.
