Nathan Gessey
Nathan is an Associate in Trowers & Hamlins' Projects & Construction team in Exeter, having trained at the firm.
Nathan acts for a diverse portfolio of public and private-sector clients, including national and regional developers, lending institutions, pension funds and retirement community operators. Nathan advises on all aspects of construction procurement and documentation, with particular expertise in preparing and negotiating industry standard building contracts (JCT and NEC), professional appointments, bespoke development-related agreements and construction aspects of development finance.
Known for his clear, commercially driven approach, Nathan supports clients from project inception through to completion, ensuring that construction documentation is aligned with wider commercial objectives, funding requirements and risk profiles. Nathan is particularly experienced in advising on the construction elements of complex, large-scale commercial and mixed-use developments, significant refurbishment and redevelopment projects and retirement living developments.
Nathan works closely with colleagues across real estate, banking & finance and corporate teams to deliver coordinated, value-focused support throughout the life cycle of a project.
