Following the recent acquisition of over 500 affordable homes from A2Dominion, International law firm Trowers & Hamlins has advised VIVID on the swift charging of a number of the newly acquired properties in connection with VIVID's existing £2 billion Euro Medium Term Note (EMTN) programme, established through its wholly owned subsidiary, Peninsular Capital Plc.
The charging completed just three days after the acquisition, demonstrating the team's ability to deliver complex, cross-lender security work efficiently and at pace, and follows the team's recent work charging a further 1,584 properties to the same EMTN programme which was completed last month.
Laura Abernethy, Senior Securitisation Manager at VIVID, commented:
"Forhad and the wider Trowers team were fantastic to work with on this transaction. Forhad's expertise, responsiveness and ability to coordinate the security work at pace were invaluable. Completing the charging of a number of the newly acquired properties just three days after completion was a great achievement and demonstrates both the strength of the team and the quality of support provided by Trowers."
Forhad Ahmed, Senior Associate at Trowers & Hamlins, commented:
"It was a privilege to continue supporting VIVID following the acquisition. Completing the charging of a number of the newly acquired properties within just three days reflects the dedication and close coordination of the team, and our ability to deliver complex security requirements efficiently and at pace."
The Trowers team for the charging work was led by Senior Associate Forhad Ahmed, supported by Partner Hannah Jackson and Trainee Solicitor Charlotte Tucker.
