Two Trowers & Hamlins partners have been appointed to sit on key committees for the British Property Federation (BPF). Senior Partner, Sara Bailey, and commercial real estate Partner, Sam Folley will sit on the Development Board and Industrial Committee respectively.
Founded in 1963, the BPF is acknowledged as the voice of the UK real estate industry. Its mission is to help the industry grow and thrive, to the benefit of business and society. Members include property owners, developers, investors, agents and advisers.
The organisation's committees, alongside its working groups, give members a voice in BPF's policy work, drawing on their expertise and insight to help shape BPF's views, standpoints and focus.
Sara Bailey, was previously Trowers' Head of Real Estate and is currently the firm's Senior Partner. She has over 30 years' experience in the real estate sector and has established herself as a trusted adviser to a range of private providers, local authorities, and central government developers, counselling on complex public and private projects. She specialises in regeneration, PPP projects, partnerships and joint ventures.
Sam Folley, also a partner in the Real Estate team, specialises in commercial real estate. He has wide experience in acting on sales and acquisitions of investment property and secured lending transactions acting for borrowers both on new acquisitions and the refinancing of existing debt. He has strong experience of acting for airport operators, with over 15 years' experience advising the sector on airport expansion and development and airside leasing.

We look forward very much to adding our voices to the panels we're to sit on and helping the BPF continue with its great work."
