International law firm Trowers & Hamlins has won the Aspiring Solicitors award for 'All Star Improvement in Recruiting Diverse Talent 2022'.

Aspiring Solicitors (AS) gave the award due to the fact that 67% of the firm's trainees were AS Members, a 40% increase on the previous year and stated that 'this was the best progress recorded out of all AS Partner firms and are delighted for the team who've been working tirelessly to diversify their talent pool."

Trowers is a partner of Aspiring Solicitors who work with law firms and legal teams to provide opportunities for aspiring solicitors from diverse backgrounds and to enhance diversity and inclusion within the legal profession through coaching, mentoring, events and competitions.

Sharron Webster, Partner and Head of Diversity & Inclusion at Trowers said:

"It's fantastic to receive this award from Aspiring Solicitors. Our strategy is focussed on bringing through the diverse talent of tomorrow with key partnerships and initiatives. We are broadening our talent pool and scope to provide opportunities for people from all backgrounds. This really is diversity in action and we are incredibly proud of everything we are doing."
