Ned Beale's article "Access to Financial Justice: Three Financial Services Conduct Scandals, and a Proposal for Reform" was recently published in Sweet & Maxwell's Journal of International Banking Law & Regulation.

The article discusses a proposal to establish specialist financial services tribunals, modelled on employment tribunals, to provide banks and their customers with a specialist and cost efficient forum for the resolution of disputes. The proposal has attracted support in parliament and being considered by the FCA and a number of high street banks. Ned was recently asked to parliament to provide input to the All Party Parliamentary Group on Fair Business Banking as to how this would work in practice.
