Private Wealth heavyweight Jonathan Kropman joins Trowers & Hamlins
International law firm Trowers & Hamlins, has recruited Jonathan Kropman to lead its Private Wealth practice in the UK and internationally. He will be based at the firms head office in London.
Jonathan joins from Berwin Leighton Paisner LLP having over the last 13 years led its Private Wealth, advising creators and owners of capital, their private wealth managers and the corporates that many own. He works across all aspects of private wealth including privacy, family holdings structures, family governance, the impact of regulation, information exchange and tax transparency.
Trowers' Senior Partner, Jennie Gubbins commented on Jonathan's arrival at the firm:

Jonathan also plays an active part in the charity sector, advising grant making and receiving bodies on services and relationship agreements, regulatory compliance as well as charity governance, mergers of charities and contractual enforcement. His interest in this sector is also echoed at a personal level as he chairs the nationally focused neurological research charity, Brain Research UK and is on the board of Weizmann UK which supports research at the Weizmann Institute of Science.
