How can we help you?

With up to £800 million of funding available, bidders are gearing up for the imminent launch of Wave 2.1 of the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF). This is a key funding opportunity for local authorities, registered providers and registered charities (either alone or as part of a consortium) looking to retrofit their social housing stock and will be crucial step in meeting Net Zero targets and addressing fuel poverty.

Speakers from BEIS and Trowers & Hamlins ran a practical session to help bidders navigate the funding requirements of Wave 2.1.

Topics covered:

  • Overview of the key obligations in the Grant Funding Agreement and Data Sharing Agreement
  • Key risks for landlords and how to mitigate these
  • Does Subsidy Control impact your bid?
  • Consortium approaches – how to protect consortium members and the lead partner

This was the first in a series of SHDF webinars that will focus on funding, project delivery and asset management.

The webinar was recorded and can be viewed below.
