Webinar: Trowers Tuesday – Side hustles
At next week's Trowers Tuesday we'll be focusing on how to manage employees with side hustles (doing second jobs).
Please join us at 11.30am on 10 October where Emma Burrows, Rebecca McGuirk and Vikki Cunliffe will be taking your questions.
Whilst the cost of living crisis continues, more employees are looking for additional income by taking on second jobs or undertaking their own entrepreneurial activities outside of their employment. We'll be discussing:
- How employers can manage employees who take on such additional work;
- Issues that employers should consider such as reputational issues; competition; the Working Time Regulations 1998; productivity and so on;
- What steps employers can take to protect their position going forwards.
We would love to hear if this is an issue for you and if so, what steps you are taking.
Please submit your questions before and/or during the session. We look forward to seeing you on Tuesday.
