We invite you to our next commercial litigation seminar where we address key developments in civil litigation and common issues.

Topics covered will include:

  • Benefiting from Legal Professional Privilege

Charlotte Clayson will be exploring how and when privilege arises and discussing how in-house lawyers can seek to ensure that their communications benefit from legal professional privilege.

  • Got to have (good) faith?

James Lancaster will look at the circumstances in which parties are under an obligation to act in good faith and when the Court may impose an implied duty of good faith, by drawing out the key points from the latest court decisions.

  • Without Prejudice – a throwaway term?

What does it mean to have an "off-the-record" conversation? Is any correspondence marked "WPSAC" automatically awarded some secret status?  Sam Robinson will be crunching through the commonly used "without prejudice" lexicon to explain when and how the terminology should be deployed.
