Alyaqdhan Al Waily


Alyaqdhan is an associate in Trowers & Hamlins International Dispute Resolution and Litigation team and has a background in law having graduated with an English law degree from a university in the UK. 

He is part of Trowers' local affiliate firm Abdullah Al Barwani Law Office, through which we provide advocacy services in the Oman Courts. Prior to joining Trowers & Hamlins, Alyaqdhan spent two years working at the Ministry of Legal Affairs as a legal researcher conducting various contract reviews in different practice areas including construction, corporate, aviation and various legislative drafting tasks. 

Alyaqdhan has also worked in Duqm Refinery and Petrochemical Industries Company LLC's legal department gaining an in-depth understanding of the tendering process for major oil and gas projects. Alyaqdhan has also worked for Oman Air in their contracts and corporate legal department and assisted its litigation department on various commercial cases. Alyaqdhan has rights of audience before the Primary Courts in Oman and regularly represents clients in civil, employment and commercial disputes, and advises on legal and compliance issues. Alyaqdhan has English and Arabic drafting capabilities.
