Abdullah Al Busaidi
Abdullah is an Associate in the International Dispute Resolution team and is based in our Oman office, advising corporate and individual clients on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious matters.
Abdullah joins Trowers & Hamlins from one of the world's largest international law firms, where he spent over six years advising multinational corporations, financial institutions and government-owned entities across commercial disputes, employment, criminal defence and high-value debt recovery in key sectors including petroleum, telecommunications, transport and healthcare.
His experience includes representing clients before Omani Primary Courts, the Ministry of Labour and the Public Prosecution, as well as in arbitration proceedings. Notable matters include the successful negotiation of settlements for over 100 employee claims without recourse to litigation, securing debt recoveries exceeding OMR 7 million for a single client, and advising on the cross-border sale of a major healthcare group's Omani operations comprising two hospitals and six clinics across multiple practice areas and jurisdictions.
Abdullah is licensed to appear before all Primary Courts in Oman and is currently pursuing his Appeal Court advocacy licence. He is a native Arabic speaker with full professional proficiency in English, enabling him to advise and represent clients seamlessly in both languages.
