Trowers wins National Housing Federation award for Best Professional Services Firm

International law firm Trowers & Hamlins, has won the Best Professional Services Firm Award at the National Housing Federation's HANA awards held on 5th July 2018 in London.

The purpose of the HANA Awards is to celebrate the most pioneering and innovative finance teams in the social housing sector.

The firm submitted an application for the Best Professional Services Firm award to demonstrate their hard work with Peabody on their group restructure and subsequent merger.

Anthony Marriott, Head of Treasury at Peabody, said:

"Trowers & Hamlins played an integral role helping to project manage and deliver Peabody through this highly complex, unique transaction, which enabled us to remove significant historic legal restrictions and be better positioned for achieving our long term charitable aims. With Trowers' help we found the best corporate structure for Peabody for the future and the best way to achieve it".
