Andrea Leigh
Andrea specialises in construction projects and has experience advising both public and private sector clients on a wide range of projects.
She advises clients throughout the lifecycle of major projects, from advising on procurement strategy through to drafting and negotiating bespoke construction contracts and associated documents and giving post-completion . She has provided advice on a number of key UK procurements under the Public Contracts Regulations and Utilities Regulations.
In the past year Andrea has advised on the procurement and construction elements of two multi-million pound roads projects and worked with a central government department to produce a suite of construction documents based on an alliancing model for the procurement of long-term partners for the renovation and regeneration of existing assets. She has also supported multiple funders on the construction elements of development financing for housing projects and student accomodation projects.
Andrea has experience working with the major forms of construction contract, including NEC, JCT, FAC-1 and PPC2000.
