Our award-winning Energy and Infrastructure team is a market leader in assisting clients to deliver and finance large-scale projects across the Middle East

As part of our well-established energy, projects and infrastructure practice, we have been heavily involved in significant port sector developments within the Middle East, particularly over the last ten years. Our commitment to this field is highlighted by the fact that we acted on the establishment of the Arabian Ship Repair Yard in Bahrain over thirty years ago.

We have acted for sponsors, port operators and governments all of which has given us an invaluable depth of experience and knowledge of the respective concerns and issues facing stakeholders in this industry.

We have been involved in green-field projects and major expansions, corporatisations and privatisations. We have a strong track-record of having advised governments in relation to industry restructuring, regulation and legislation as well as tenders, bid negotiations and evaluation.

We are able to advise on service agreements, port facilities agreements, bunkering contracts, management and marketing agreements and all aspects of construction and procurement relating to port projects.

Unlike many other firms that advise on port projects, we also have an award-winning expertise in project finance and we are able to devote this experience to our work in the ports sector to meet clients' requirements.
