With the world getting increasingly smaller many of our clients are now choosing to employ non-EU nationals in their workforce. We provide advice on the various options for doing so and the requirements for a successful application and then guide our clients through what are often quite complex application processes. We regularly advise on work permit applications, both where these involve a recruitment search of the resident labour market and where an intra-company transfer is involved, and have a very high success rate.

We have also had excellent success in making applications for potential employees to come into the country on highly skilled migrant status.

On making successful applications we then advise our clients on the visas that their employees will need to enter and remain in the country. We also regularly advise individuals on UK visa issues, including the making and extension of visitors' visas and visas for domestic workers. We have a special arrangement with the Home Office that allows us to expedite the visa application process.

If you are employing an individual whose work permit or visa has expired or turns out to be false, we are also able to provide advice on the potential risks to you of employing an illegal worker and on the best way of rectifying the situation.
