Bringing together some of the latest know-how on topical issues in the residential development world, we invite you to join us and others from across the sector.
Delivered in two short sessions and with a South West focus, this event will provide valuable insight for residential developers, house builders (including housing associations) and all those involved in the delivery of new build residential projects.

Session one:
Proposed crack down on unfair leasehold practices
New Government proposals to outlaw leasehold sales of houses and to give freehold owners the right to challenge service charges

Community Infrastructure Levy
Managing the impact of CIL, plus the outcome of the Government's reform paper

What can stop your development: The litigator's perspective
Including restrictive covenants, adverse easements, rights of light and how to navigate them

Session two (from 10:45am):
Understanding and managing Overage
Its purpose, what happens when parties disagree and common problems

Building Regulations and Fire Safety
Possible implications of the Independent Review of Building Regulations and Fire Safety: interim report.

Event details

Registration will be from 8:30am with the session starting at 9:00am.

There will be further opportunities for networking during the break and when the session closes at noon.

Sandwiches and light refreshments will be served when the seminar closes at 12 noon.
