Residential breakfast forum

The Trowers & Hamlins residential breakfast forum brings together senior people active in the residential market to share views and ideas on current issues relevant to the sector.
We are delighted to be joined by Gary Jackson, Director and co-founder of 3Sixty Measurement Ltd for the Spring residential breakfast forum.

3Sixty Measurement was established in 2007 and specialises in Land and measured surveys. In this session Gary will be discussing property boundary issues covering the following:

Ordnance Survey and Land Registry plans, accuracies and limitations

  • Documents, deeds and transfer plans
  • Common issues and disputes
  • Adverse possession
  • Agreements and marking out on the ground
  • Hot tips for clients

In addition, we will be joined by Tom Barton, an Associate in the firms planning team will be discussing issues relating to the enlargement and improvement of residential properties, including:

  • Basement development;
  • The amalgamation of adjacent units; and
  • Restricting development by other means.

Tom will also discuss the emerging principals of inclusive design as set out on the 2017 draft London Plan and to what extent the use of 'poor doors' in new residential developments is acceptable in planning terms.
