Trowers & Hamlins participate on a panel at MJ Future Forum.

We are delighted to be participating in a panel discussion with Pinnacle PSG at the MJ Future Forum on Thursday 26 March.

The MJ Forum is a unique, 24-hour seminar providing an opportunity for Chief Executives to listen to experts on the financial challenges for local government and to discuss solutions.

Helen Randall, a Partner in our Public Sector Commercial department will be part of a panel, including Neil Euesden, Managing Director of Pinnacle PSG, Aidan Rave, Managing Director of BellPaul and Ray Morgan, Chief Executive of Woking Borough Council, discussing 'Commissioning successful partnerships to deliver outcomes – competition to achieve value for money'.

Helen will look at how local government can partner with the public sector to save money, raise revenue and achieve local economic wellbeing, citing successful examples such as One Barnet, Barking Riverside, Red Door Ventures and 3BM to highlight how it is easier than ever for local authorities to enter into partnerships with the private sector to achieve social value as well as saving costs, notwithstanding ministerial announcements.

Trowers & Hamlins has acted for both the public and private sector on a range of Public Private Partnerships over a wide range of sectors including education, waste, housing and regeneration and health and social care projects.  For more information about our PPP practice, please click here.
