Neil Waller


Neil is an experienced banking and finance lawyer who advises on the structure and documentation of all types of real estate finance transactions. 

His wide ranging experience includes acting for social housing providers on the full range of their debt financing requirements, as well as public and private sector lenders and borrowers on development and investment finance matters.  He has also acted on a number of project finance transactions, particularly in the fields of student accommodation and housing PFI.

His real estate finance experience also includes leading a due diligence team on the acquisition of a USD1.8 billion loan book secured on UK real estate (the transaction features as "Deal of the Week" in The Lawyer).

He regularly works for all types of social housing providers, large and small, across England and Wales. He has recently advised on refinancing transactions for Newport City Homes and Livin Housing and a bond issue for Karbon Homes.  Other regular clients include Jigsaw Homes and Mosscare St Vincents Housing.
