Emma Thompson


Emma is a Solicitor in the Dispute Resolution and Litigation department. She joined the firm in March 2021 from the Grenfell Tower Inquiry where she was a member of their Construction team.

Since joining T&H Emma has worked on a number of high value construction matters that involve fire safety, cladding claims, extension of time and complex building defects.  Emma has experience of instructing experts on areas of technical expertise, drafting advice notes and resolving contentious construction disputes both through litigation and alternative forms of dispute resolution. Emma is dual-qualified and is admitted to the roll in England & Wales and called to the Bar in the commonwealth jurisdiction of Jamaica.  She also holds an LLM in Environmental Law from the Queen Mary, University of London.
