Perry Swanson


Perry deals with the full range of landlord and tenant disputes including lease renewals, breaches of covenant, recovery of rents and dilapidations. He has experience in advising on and handling disputes in relation to the acquisition, management and disposal of commercial real estate.

He also advises on development-related litigation, including rights to light issues, rights of first refusal and the enforceability of restrictive covenants. Perry has also dealt with professional negligence matters on behalf of clients relating to the property industry, telecommunications matters for both landowners and operators, and his experience includes working with asset management firms, property investment funds, charitable organisations, developers, retailers and private individuals on real estate matters generally.

Perry is a member of the Property Litigation Association and also sits on the committee of the Junior Property Litigation Association.
