Marion deals with the acquisition of sites for development by private and public sector bodies for commercial and residential development which includes resolving title issues and title amalgamation.
Marion assists with overage and option agreements and advises on the re-development of sites acquired through Large Scale Voluntary Transfers. Marion also deals with Golden Brick and Turnkey acquisitions, acquisitions and disposals of large portfolios of housing stock for Registered Providers, single acquisitions and disposals (including auction disposals) of residential and commercial assets. Prior to this Marion specialised in real estate property finance and, in particular, the due diligence and property aspects of charging large portfolios of properties for bank lending, bond issues, private placement and re-financing, dealing with conditions precedent to loan agreements, drafting and negotiating certificates of title. Marion's work over the past twelve years has also encompassed a broad range of residential and commercial property matters including sale and leaseback, shared ownership, equity loan and resale price covenant schemes, staircasing transactions, right to buy and right to acquire transactions.
