Julia Robertson

Julia specialises in advising lending institutions as well as borrowers on secured finance transactions such as bond issues, traditional funding or debt restructuring; essentially a variety of aspects of securing large portfolios of properties to help her clients meet their challenges and commercial goals.

This may be as part of a corporate restructure such as an amalgamation, to uplift the valuation following statutory changes or rectifying title matters to increase the security valuation basis or debt servicing for future development.

Julia is experienced with the different types of stock (such as new build, older stock, supported and mixed use developments) and related requirements to ensure stock is acceptable as security, identifying solutions where this is not the case and of course working with colleagues internally in matters such as section 106 agreements and mortgagee exclusion provisions from the development stage.

Julia also provides 'training' to clients to assist their varying internal processes and requirements.
