Helen Tejada Randall
Helen is a leading national expert in local government, procurement, PPPs, public and administrative law, consistently ranked as among the world's leading government contracts lawyers (Who's Who Legal).
Helen advises public and private sector clients on how to achieve success when procuring, bidding for and negotiating joint ventures, strategic partnerships, trading and regeneration vehicles, shared services, outsourcings and PPPs. She specialises in helping clients navigate complex vires, governance and devolution issues.
Helen's work has been at the forefront of public/private innovation: Kings Cross regeneration, the Rio Earth Summit, Europe's largest energy from waste recovery facility, numerous PFI Pathfinder projects, One Barnet outsourcing, advised the European Medicines Agency on Brexit, the London Business Rates Pool MOU and the London Cancer Hub.
In Acritas' global research of senior in-house counsel, clients have independently nominated Helen as an Acritas Star: "one of the most outstanding lawyers they have worked with".
Helen is also active in promoting diversity, equality and inclusion. Helen co-founded and supports TrowersIncludes, our firm's global D&I programme, chairs the trustee board of Stonewall Housing (a specialist LGBTQ+ housing charity), is a EMEA representative on Interlaw's Diversity Affinity Group and a member of the Institute of Paralegals Diversity Board.
