Josh O'Neill


Josh is a Solicitor in Trowers & Hamlins Exeter office with considerable experience in dealing with a broad range of litigation regarding land disputes, contractual disputes and professional negligence.

Examples of the types of work Josh regularly undertakes include:

  • Disputes relating to goods/services under the Consumer Rights Act 2015
  • Commercial contract disputes
  • Breach of lease disputes (including commercial, residential and mixed-use property)
  • Disputes involving boundary encroachments, easement interference and breach of restrictive covenants
  • Disputes involving services performed by professionals (including Surveyors, Solicitors and specialist contractors)
  • Disputes relating to nuisance (including noise nuisance)
  • Disputes concerning insurance coverage/subrogated claims

In addition to his general litigation practice, Josh has a specialism for equine related claims including mis-selling, veterinary negligence and sales disputes under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Josh also has experience of cases involving the strict liability principles of the Animals Act and in particular damage caused to property by horses.
